VGC - "Star" photo, published Oct 1960 illustrating "The Untold Story of Spurs" by Bill Nicholson. John was a wonderful inside forward, signed from Falkirk in 1959, played 183 games for Spurs with 40 goals before lightning struck in 1964 and sadly his life was over at about 27 - in his prime.
