- VGC - crsed corner - poor old Gordon, the first picture of him after his terrible car accident in which he sustained injuries to his eye (eight stitches after removing two glass splinters from it) and 100 other stitches in his face. Bravely he spoke about playing again - not hoping, but believing he would. And he did. This was only 7/8 months after the League Cup win, underlining how flimsy success can be.
