- VGC - sl crses on edges - Rovers left back Alex Gray (far left) is donning the keeper's jersey as their man between the sticks has been injured in some sort of clash with a Celtic player. (Game at Celtic, 16.11.68). Referee Mr J Gordon looks on as the protest continues in front of him. Who knows what happened? Probably not Mr Gordon! Alex Gray was a local boy who played over 200 games for Rovers between 1963 and 1971 - not many in goal, though!
