- VGC - unstamped original, kept in collector's album for 70+ years till removed by me recently - England international Neil signed for Hull in 1951 after a period in Colombia which proved controversial - he wasn't the only player to go out there but it didn't do many of them any good. He played 95 league games for the Tigers until leaving for Crewe in 1955, and won 27 England caps in the immediate post-war period. A stylish centre half.
