Argyle keeper Harry Cann dives in vain as a shot from Herbert Edward "Jim" Hammond flies past him into the net. This was Fulham's first goal in a 3-2 win over the West Countrymen.  Hammond was an early Fulham legend - he scored a then club-record 150 goals in 342 games and was lovingly known as "The Galloping Hairpin".
