VGC - narrative on back reads as follows:-

Crowd trouble at Football - France v England. Of the expected crowd trouble which seems to follow England everywhere they play, happily it rarely materialised within the confines of the stadium. Minor scuffling and the throwing of seats in the crowd broke out on a couple of occasions, not helped by the menacing presence of French riot police who restored order by wielding their batons with much the same effect as the England defenders stuck to their task in the tackle.

Oh yes..... France won 2-0.
